As a forward-looking HR professional, you will serve as a strategic partner to clients by developing and delivering integrated and inclusive people strategies such as: Organization Design, Talent & Performance Management, Employee Effectiveness, and Talent Solutions.

This role reports to the VP, HR Business Partner and supports the HR organization within The Walt Disney Studios & Platform Distribution organizations.

Responsibilities  

  • Provide HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative HR strategies to anticipate and assess emerging business, organization or people trends and identify and implement the appropriate Human Resource solutions.

  • Drive people engagement strategies that align with near and long-term business priorities and foster an environment where all employees are respected and valued.

  • Lead a team of HR business partners across multiple locations; provide oversight and motivate employee engagement and culture across time zones.

  • Consult with HR leaders around the globe on HR policies and processes, including, learning and development, and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.

  • Build effective and productive working relationships with HR functional partners, internal stakeholders and clients at all levels of the organization. Be an effective bridge builder across all functions and levels within the organization.

  • Assess talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy to help close gaps between current and future skill sets.

  • Leverage workforce analytics and insights to focus leaders on relevant business issues and assessing potential solutions.

  • Challenge the status quo; pursue different approaches to our work by demonstrating flexibility, nimbleness, transparency, agility and global thinking.

Work Experience and Qualifications  

  • 7+ years of experience in human resources, organization development, or related talent planning field

  • You can manage multiple clients and prioritize complex projects in a fast-paced and high volume, matrixed environment.

  • You are an effective consultant. You build awareness on key organizational issues, as well as consensus for relevant solutions. You guide stakeholders to drive org improvement and change.

  • You maintain a broad view of the business and deliver solutions that balance individual client and overall Studio needs. 

  • You manage and thrive within ambiguity. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience 


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $165,700 to $202,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
