What are the island destinations?

Disney Cruise Line visits two island destinations in The Bahamas: Disney Castaway Cay, nestled in the Abaco chain of islands, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, our newest island destination in Eleuthera. Cast members on each island work in over 100 different roles across six departments, taking pride in creating an island paradise like no other and memories for guests that will last a lifetime.

What is life like at the island destinations?

Our island destination cast members create magic for guests as they work on the islands. During non-working hours, cast members enjoy dedicated cast amenities and the natural scenery on the island. Dedicated cast areas include a 24-hour gym with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a cast store and cafeteria, a cast bar, a private beach area for ship crew and island cast, and more. A small number of cast members who live locally in Abaco or Eleuthera commute to and from work each day via company provided transportation.

What type of career opportunities are available at the island destinations?

There are a variety of opportunities spanning different job areas including Recreation, Animal Programs (Disney Castaway Cay only), Maintenance, Island Services, Security, Environmental and Administration. No matter what position you hold, whether you are leading a team or making an impact in an operational position, you can grow your career and develop your skills.
