This role is a 6 months maternity cover contract role based in Singapore.

Disney Store APAC is seeking an experienced eCommerce Marketing Manager to drive the development, innovation and performance of Disney Store marketing channels. The Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for delivering high quality traffic to Disney Store through a deeper understanding of the relationship between target consumer, brand and channel behaviour. They will draw actionable insight from marketing activity and focus that insight to increase future performance through hands-on execution of digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be problem solving, results oriented, analytical, and self-starting with a passion for eCommerce. 

Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Drive quarterly/monthly cross-channel marketing planning in line with annual marketing/sales targets and strategy; including day to day management of regional marketing activities and promotions.
    • Lead the implementation of paid media strategies for APAC, closely managing the agency in the planning and optimisation of all paid digital media activity across markets, campaigns and channels (SEM, Affiliate, Social, Display, etc).
    • Monitor trends and distill weekly reporting into actionable insight to fuel greater media efficiency. Surface key commercial insights to the wider business to improve conversion optimization across channels. Set, monitor and maintain accountability for regional & local paid media KPIs.
    • Oversee budget management across paid media channels and proactively influence future planning.
    • Grow the Disney Store audience through tactical paid media testing, refining targeting solutions and exploring new channel opportunities – in line with quarterly targets.
    • Collaborating with Digital Experiences, local market and creative teams to develop asset briefs that are adaptable for multiple platforms/uses to maximize efficiencies
  • Partner with the wider Disney Store team to plan, execute and own marketing campaigns and cross-channel digital marketing initiatives to generate awareness, drive traffic and sales and engagement.
  • Champion the local market audience needs through marketing programs, campaigns, and community management.
    • Assist in the briefing/deployment of digital materials, making sure the online content reflects the tone, strategy, and messaging of Disney Store, but with local resonance for each region
    • Maintain quality & impact of social pages and email programs
    • Surface local consumer insights, digital trends and tactics to influence regional development
    • Partner with local PR, studios & franchise to tap into a community of local Disney KOLs to amplify our marketing efforts

Collaboration

  • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting with all levels internally and externally.
  • Plan and own the marketing landscape, establishing brilliant working relationships with internal stakeholders/LOBs.
  • Identify operational and process flow opportunities and partner with stakeholders to find solutions
  • Partner with buying & merchandising to identify which programs to highlight across marketing channels to drive demand, conversion and revenue. 
  • Work closely with digital experience and merchandising to seamlessly direct consumers through the purchase funnel
  • Collaborate with wider marketing team to identify local trends/activity with the potential to scale to create regional impact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in an eCommerce environment
  • Hands-on experience using digital marketing platforms to drive a commercial outcome.
  • You have strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, supervising objectives and test plans, and deriving learnings.
  • Media Buying experience strongly recommended
  • Ability to multi-task and pivot priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Innovative, naturally curious, and constantly seeking to unlock performance
  • Willingness roll up their sleeves and be hands-on in delivering day-to-day requirements of the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.
