Calling All Disney Culinary Program Alumni! If you have been dreaming of returning, now is your chance to make it a reality! Apply now to be considered for our Disney Culinary Alumni Program 2025 at the Walt Disney World® Resort. It is open to former Disney Culinary Program participants who have successfully completed a previous program at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
This unique internship has a starting rate of $22 per hour allows the opportunity to experience, study and create the Disney magic. It is also the time to take advantage of networking with Disney leaders.
Join us for the 2025 Alumni Culinary Program, with an arrival date in August 2025 and a departure date of November 20, 2025. This opportunity will support festivals where you create Culinary Magic at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
Experience
From a well-planned apartment community to uniquely Disney events and activities, life on the Disney Culinary Program has a little extra magic. Upon accepting an offer, you’ll have the opportunity to live at Flamingo Crossings Village, which is owned and managed by American Campus Communities. This community features fully furnished apartments and includes additional amenities like a 12,500 sq. ft. fitness center, quiet spaces to study, resort-style pools, and bus transportation to and from our parks and resorts. Plus, you will be living with and making friends from all around the world.

Ready to go behind the magic with instructor-led offerings or looking for academic support to continue reaching your goals? On the Disney Culinary Program, we have crafted our program-exclusive learning opportunities to give interns the ultimate addition to their academic and professional careers. Enhance your academic journey with our internship program, which is recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education, adding significant value to your educational experience.
Create
You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of international cuisines, gaining firsthand experience in different cooking styles and techniques at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The festival attracts world renowned chefs and can be a great chance to network and learn from some of the best in the industry. Working at a prestigious event like the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival can be a significant boost to your résumé and can open doors to further opportunities within Disney and beyond.
Available roles include, but are not limited to:
- Culinary Assistant, Cook II
- Culinary Assistant, Cook I
- Get paid on a weekly basis.
- Receive complimentary theme park admission.
- Have access to cast-exclusive discounts.
- Access free transportation to work locations and nearby shopping or dining.
- Live in an innovative apartment community.

Responsibilities:
Culinary Assistant, Cook II
Work in a fast-paced a la carte, buffet, catering/special events, production, or quick service/food court environment (may include an on-stage cooking location)
Gain skills in culinary fundamentals in hot and cold food station setup, sauce-making, and salad/sandwich preparation
Knowledge of food allergies, seasonal ingredients and menus
Proficiency in stations of the line, including deep-frying, sauteing, roasting, boiling, and grilling, along with vegetable, grains, and starch cookery
Basic Qualifications:
- Have successfully completed a previous Disney Program at either the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL or at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, CA. NOTE: Current Disney Program participants are not eligible to apply (Please speak to your leader about the extensions application process)
Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application
Possess unrestricted work authorization within the United States*
*United States includes all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and all other United States territories.Be fully available to work Sunday through Saturday, including days and nights, holidays and overtime
Knowledge of HACCP, proper food handling techniques, temperatures, and food safety
Display proficient knife skills and knowledge of basic cuts
Good communication skills and outstanding Guest Service
Able to stand/walk for the entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs.
Work in various locations including indoor and outdoor environments
Be receptive to Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Must have at minimum 4-months between your prior Program departure date and the Arrival date of August 4th, 2025.
Students with additional years of experience/education may be considered for a Cook 1 role
Required Education:
Enrolled in or have completed a Culinary Arts program seeking a certificate or degree in the United States*.
*United States includes all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and all other United States territories.
