About the Role & Team

Due to a recent promotion in the team, we're looking for a new Talent Partner to join our lean, high-performing team, supporting our UK&I Corporate business area. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Disney’s talent strategy—sourcing top-tier candidates, shaping hiring decisions, and driving an exceptional candidate experience. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you’ll take a consultative approach, influencing and advising on the best recruitment strategies. You'll also play a pivotal role in strengthening our employer brand, championing direct sourcing, internal mobility, and inclusive hiring practices. This role will be based four days a week in our Hammersmith office, with one day working from home.

What You Will Do

  • Decide on the most appropriate methodology including direct sourcing, head hunting, advertising, agencies and exploring internal solutions.

  • Proactively partner and lead relationship with Hiring Managers to discuss and make recommendations on resourcing issues (temporary, permanent, fixed term) as well as looking at the most effective manner/way to source candidates.

  • Challenge the stakeholders on wider elements impacting the business (e.g. internal mobility, location strategy, key strategic goals and directions) and professionally and effectively influence the outcome.

  • Act as a trusted recruitment partner, taking ownership for the successful conclusion of recruitment assignments, ensuring delivery of a service that is customer focused, value-add and cost effective.

  • Responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process creating the hiring strategy for the hiring manager to fully understand the requirements of each vacancy to ensure the shortlisted CVs are of the quality desired.

  • Applies strategic thinking to the sourcing strategy and can understand not only the current requirements of the role but also longer-term potential.

  • Understand changes in business strategy that could influence or alter candidate pipelines.

  • Draft creative and engaging adverts that will attract quality candidates to our vacancies.

  • Undertake initial pre-screening through both CV review and telephone screening & with line managers as required.

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Team to promote The Walt Disney Company’s employer brand using social media and other tools.

  • Maintains smooth flow of admin throughout the recruitment process e.g. communication to hiring manager, candidate, HR, etc.

  • Project work in conjunction with your TA Manager.

  • Uphold our Company commitments around Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.

  • Support Hiring Leader and Peers education around Inclusion within the workplace.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience of recruiting Corporate roles in a large, multinational matrix organisation (e.g. Finance, Legal, HR, Business Support, Facilities etc.)

  • Experience of managing a requisition list of circa 20 varied vacancies concurrently

  • Ability to navigate a complex global matrix organisation is essential

  • Experience of leading initiatives to drive employer brand and generate candidates

  • Excellent stakeholder management experience – building and maintaining relationships at all levels

  • Proven experience of end-to-end recruitment in an in-house role

  • Proven experience of delivering direct sourcing across multiple different and diverse roles

  • Ability to deliver projects to improve ways of working, from inception to delivery

  • Ability to operate and navigate in an environment of change and ambiguity

  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking system or similar, recruitment-focused software

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social recruiting platforms

  • Strong familiarity with Boolean and X-Ray searching techniques

  • Understanding of the Entertainment & Media industry is preferable

  • Be candidate focussed, accustomed to working with multi-functional groups at all levels

  • Familiarity with using recruitment metrics to monitor performance
