Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.

You will be part of the London-based EMEA Disney Advertising team and will help lead our sponsorship sales efforts for Disney+ in the UK&I.. You will lead a small team focused on delivering sponsorship and integrated partnerships opportunities for Disney+, delivering both on platform opportunities as well as leveraging off platform opportunities (social, events, custom content) to drive incremental revenue. You will be required to work closely with internal stakeholders including sales enablement, trade marketing, operations, legal and programming to prioritise and package our sponsorship offering on Disney+. You will work alongside the agency sales team, to identify priority target brands and partners, as well as ensure that we are covering all key decision makers in the agency, and be directly responsible for managing relationships with sponsorship teams in agencies, ensuring we are delivering and servicing them with best in class sponsorship opportunities across Disney+.

In addition to the UK&I role, you will also lead a regional taskforce to support our local market teams across EMEA as they develop their sponsorship offering, share learnings and guidance. When regional opportunities arise, you will coordinate with other markets to deliver the campaign, and closely partner with our US and Global counterparts to ascertain relevant global packages, best practise and target accounts.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Disney+ sponsorship sales in UK&I

  • Ensure delivering best in class opportunities for agencies and partners

  • Collaborate with all internal business partners to ensure deals delivered efficiently and effectively

  • Develop strategy for incremental revenue growth

  • Help lead response for all integrated sponsorship briefs, working with Disney Creativeworks team

  • Help identify integrated opportunities with off platform extensions such as social, events, custom content

  • Help co-ordinate any integrated partnerships with other lines of business

  • Responsibility for developing the sales approach, refining the opportunity and pitching to clients

  • Develop a strong network of client and agency relationships

  • Strong understanding of the wider Disney ecosystem to understand where synergy opportunities may be

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience Senior Manager level is essential

  • Media sales experience is essential

  • Experience in sponsorship

  • Strong multifaceted deal negotiation skills

  • Experience with international or global partnerships deals

  • Good understanding of media landscape and ideally TV/CTV experience

  • An understanding of IP rights, protocol and processes

  • Experience of successfully influencing senior management & direct reports

  • Consultative selling - understanding of the different objectives that a partner might have, and an ability to design campaigns to meet those

  • Confident communicator with exceptional presentation skills

  • Inter-company collaboration – the ability to build strong collaborative relationships within The Walt Disney Company, across all lines of business

  • Familiarity with multi-market deal structures and the ability to navigate complex global matrix organisations

  • A deep understanding of the competitive market place: competitor offerings and roadmaps, from both direct competitors, as well as competitors from across the spectrum of entertainment partnerships

  • Strong network of contacts within the brand, agency & entertainment industries
