Manager, Streaming Solutions

About the Role & Team
Disney Advertising's Client Partnerships team is seeking a Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a member of the Streaming Solutions group within Client Partnerships, you will join a dynamic team that is responsible for building best-in-class advertising solutions and proactive sponsorship opportunities for partners based on Hulu and Disney+ suite of content and ad products. We’re looking for someone who is interested in helping advertising partners drive ROI through opportunities that leverage Disney streaming platforms’ data insights, product capabilities, content library and marketing initiatives. The right person for this role is comfortable pairing storytelling skills with strategic thinking and is capable of speaking many languages, from sales and media to strategic development and technical capabilities.
Supporting the Brand vertical, this role requires the ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at a time. We seek a naturally inquisitive, self-motivated individual who is enthusiastic about being part of a team that is challenging the norm and redefining TV. This individual must have a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as this role will develop and drive projects forward proactively while working with many disciplines across the Disney organization, including but not limited to including but not limited to Entertainment Solutions, Disney CreativeWorks, Research, Analytics, Pricing and Planning, Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, Addressable Solutions, Client Connect, Global Partnerships, Sales and Legal.
This individual should also have experience in developing and packaging media opportunities and know their way around a media plan. If you are someone who knows how to craft and package opportunities for clients and is equipped to balance the integrity of the Disney brand and advertisers’ needs while building innovative solutions, all with a roll-up-your-sleeves entrepreneurial spirit, this is a great role for you. This role is to be based in our NYC Headquarters, 7 Hudson Square or our Santa Monica, CA office.
What You Will Do
Manage development of Seasonal streaming sponsorships and custom solutions
This may include sponsorship, custom content and ad products that leverage streaming and social platforms
Collaborate with Sr. Manager and leadership to develop sponsorship strategy and work closely with relevant internal partners to identify priorities, package opportunities that drive revenue, and be ready to pivot as marketplace needs change
Prepare and merchandise seasonal opportunities sponsorship packages working with various streaming network partners, research, analytics and pricing and planning teams
Develop custom and enhanced solutions for key seasonal tentpoles
Idea generation and creation of compelling pitch materials
Actively participate in idea generation and leading brainstorms with key stakeholders including CreativeWorks, and Disney+/Hulu marketing teams
Develop proactive solutions that align with sales and marketplace needs
Leverage tech and innovation, including ad products
Liaison to internal teams (Client Connect, Disney CreativeWorks) on RFP requests
Offer guidance and assistance on package details and execution
Assist with approvals as needed on the packages (Network, Legal, S&P, Business Affairs)
Collaborate with internal partners on activation process for deals that sell-through, which may include:
Kick-off calls
Content rights & approvals
Management of any social component
All project related documentation: deal agreement letters, budget management, billing, research, etc.
Work with Brand team coordinator to oversee Brand team trackers
Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal stakeholders at a senior level (e.g., Programming, Scheduling, Marketing, Legal, S&P, PR, Client Connect, Disney CreativeWorks, Sales, etc.)
Serve as a Streaming Solutions brand champion and content expert for external partners and internal Disney Ad Sales cross-portfolio colleagues. Help drive strategy and revenue performance by maximizing partnership opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of television and/or digital marketing, sponsorship, promotion, branded entertainment and/or media at a network, streaming service, promotional/media agency or entertainment studio
Expertise in project management/execution, attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
Experience with deck creation through PowerPoint and Keynote and use of SharePoint
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Keynote, Google Docs/Sheets
Strong interpersonal skills (especially in high stress environments)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate verbal ideas into written presentations
Highly organized
Creative and strategic thinker
Ability to keep abreast of digital/social industry innovations, bringing new opportunities forward
Self-motivated and proactive and flexible
Solutions oriented
Comfortable interfacing with senior-level executives
Proven experience with sponsored streaming and social activations (across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok)
Proven team player with the desire to do whatever it takes and thrives in a team culture
Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree, focus on Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred

The hiring range for this position based in New York is $108,500 - $145,400 per year and in Santa Monica, CA, the hiring range is $103,500 - $138,800. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
