Graduate Finance Apprenticeship – Spring Intake

During a Graduate Apprenticeship at Disney, you will get the chance to work side by side with industry leaders while you study towards your apprenticeship qualification – Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accountancy (equivalent to a master’s degree) alongside the CIMA Professional Accreditation. There are two opportunities across different teams that you will be considered for:
Music and Studio Content Marketing
The team is part of the broader Studios Finance organisation responsible for managing the finance, planning and analysis across Studio content marketing and Music. They oversee the Studio Content marketing spend and Music revenue and royalty activity, supporting key marketing and sales stakeholders in both businesses. The Studio produces content for cinematic and direct to Disney+ releases of over 40 content drops per year across the Marvel, Lucas, Disney, Pixar, 20th Century and Searchlight brands.
Content Sales
The Content Sales team supports the sales and distribution of titles across Disney and 20th Century brands. This role will provide financial planning, analysis, and partnering support for the Transactional Distribution business within Content Sales, which focuses on the digital sales of our new releases and library slate.
In either of these teams, your responsibilities will include the below with the line manager’s supervision and continuous review:
Support the management of elements of the Profit & Loss Statement (P&L)
Provide business support to the EMEA markets finance team and be the main point of contact for any market-specific queries.
Support the overall process of Annual Operating Planning (AOP), Forecasts, and Close, incorporating both internal EMEA and US deadlines into the processes.
Review actuals booked vs. forecast and budget.
Understand and become an expert across various systems used to extract and input data to support AOP, Forecast & Close cycles.
Support the preparation and maintenance of specific financial models used within the AOP, Forecast, 5 Year Plan (5YP) & Close cycles as required by the line manager.
Collaborate with stakeholders outside of Finance, including Sales & Marketing teams, expanding your Disney network.
Assist with the preparation of the overall EMEA Consolidated position as required by the line manager.
Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Support where needed with accounting entries to be posted by working with the Central Accounting Team.

This opportunity is based in Disney's Hammersmith Office and will require you to be on-site four days per week.
Eligibility
Must have achieved/be on target to achieve an undergraduate degree.
A passion to start a career in Finance.
Interest in the finance area whether this is through your studies, experience, extracurricular or a general interest.
Must have the right to work in the UK already in place.
Must be available to start the apprenticeship in Spring 2025.
About you
A strong interest in Finance and Accounting.
Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties.
Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferable (on-the-job training will be provided).
A “numbers person” who is accurate, logical and thorough.
Able to work independently and ask for help where needed.
