Golden Oak General Manager

About the Role & Team
The Golden Oak General Manager role assures that the first-class standards of the one-of -a-kind resort style luxury community is experienced in each facet of the Golden Oak residential experience. From the community operations to club operations, the General Manager leads, inspires, orchestrates, and delivers an unforgettable living experience for Golden Oak Residents while developing a team of Cast and Leaders that display the highest standards of Disney service!
You will report to the Director of Premium Services.
What You Will Do
Community Operations
Oversee the Community Operations including a myriad of third-party support contracts that assure the quality, appearance, safety and security, and functionality of a luxury community, including landscaping, community security, cleanliness operations, and maintenance.
Lead the community operations manager who guides logistics of the HOA board, while overseeing the community budgeting and remaining compliant to HOA statutes and the community covenants.
Work closely with the Four Seasons Resort Orlando as they maintain their portion of the Four Seasons Private Residences while providing services in concert to the co-branded single-family homeowners.
Monitor, inform and take action on non-compliance issues as outlined in the community governing documents. Partner with internal and external legal counsel as need for guidance on community compliance and new governance standard integration.
Club Operations
Lead the Club operations team to deliver on services and amenities afforded to a Golden Oak Club Member.
Overseeing door-to-park transportation team and vehicle fleet while maintaining safety standards and DOT compliance. Providing first rate service experience while managing demand and costs associated with luxury transportation service.
Leading a concierge services team that provide Disney concierge services, as well as additional concierge support for Orlando area locations. Connecting with operations line of business partners and Legal to remain current and compliant on all Disney systems, business rules, and services.
Lead the Food and Beverage operations team to operate efficiently, effectively, and appropriately in a private club environment, while maintaining Disney process and safety standards. Oversight of menu development, innovation, and service strategy along with Chef De Cuisine and Club Operations proprietor to maximize member engagement and meet revenue goals while driving a positive member experience.
Drive additional revenue through compelling private event opportunities, that drive excitement, repeatability, and Member engagement while leveraging our Disney resources to heighten member visitation and drive financial business results.
Oversee Club and Community communication strategy and messaging through various communication channels.
Assure proper, timely and compliant collection of monthly Member club accounts and club membership annual fees. Monitor pricing models to understand competitive set and membership value/fee in comparable environments.
Physical asset management of the Golden Oak Club, including management of third-party vendor support and service contracts with a first-class standard in look, feel and experience of all aspects of the clubhouse environment including indoor & outdoor dining rooms, kitchens & equipment, pool & fitness center.
General
Demonstrate effective relationships, partnerships and communications at all levels and audiences (Members/Residents/Guest/Cast/C-suite/Various Partners)
Inspire Leaders and Cast Members to deliver on the Disney service standards while operating in the unique Membership/Residential business
Deliver on all financial goals set forth in the Annual Operating plan through continual financial business management, as well as developing future strategic plans.
Partner with training and club market benchmarks to maintain a continual learning environment for all Club and Community operations Cast Members and services that allows the Member experience to elevate and evolve
Maintain Walt Disney World partnerships to maintain brand standards and deliver on the one-of-a-kind offerings that make Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort a one-of-a-kind Community
Maintain a strong relationship with Golden Oak Realty and Legal to assure that the home sale and club membership information shared with potential homeowners is reflective of the current Club and Community environment, in addition to on-going partnership with Disney Signature Experiences/Storyliving by Disney.
Deliver on the expectation of strong customer care relationships associated with the management of a residential and community environment. Learn, understand, and connect with the Membership to understand the expectations and needs while delivering personalized service. Handle escalations and resolution of unique challenges and concerns associated with a Residential and private club environment.
Maintain strong relationships with Walt Disney World Operational partners and affinity services, brands and businesses to create access and experience opportunities for Golden Oak Residents
Work closely with Club 33 Operational leadership to maintain strong understanding of operational efficiencies, tactics, and initiatives to maintain a symbiotic relationship while making strategic decisions
Required Qualifications & Skills
7 + years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, events, or property management
Ability to work with high influencer and high-profile residents and guests, while maintaining confidentiality
Ability to analyze complex resident and client requirements, including special planning
Experience in delivering operational excellence and leading business to high financial performance
Capability to recognize, retain and invest in the development of talent and satisfaction of the teams by inspiring, increasing engagement, and promoting collaboration
Holistic perspectives to understand client needs and develop creative ideas and strategies to meet business objectives
Highly proficient in creating and sharing communication at all levels via different mediums to a variety of audiences to ensure everyone understands updates, priorities, and appropriate course of escalation
Commitment to diversity and building an inclusive work environment that supports workforce diversity and different perspectives
Availability to work any schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, property management or a related field, or equivalent experience
