As a Product Inventory Analyst for Disney Cruise Line, you'll be at the heart of optimizing inventory strategies to enhance guest experiences and drive successful product rollouts. This role involves analyzing performance data to improve inventory utilization, managing guest inquiries, and introducing process improvements across both shoreside and shipboard operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Disney Cruise Line Business Systems Management, to identify system enhancements, deliver innovative solutions, and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades. Your problem-solving skills and creativity will directly impact guest satisfaction, ensuring seamless product launches and contributing to overall business growth.

The Product Inventory Analyst will report to the Product Inventory Manager and sits in Celebration, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage deep knowledge of Disney Cruise Line offerings to provide operational support, guide peers, and share insights.

  • Independently manage complex projects and departmental responsibilities, prioritizing tasks and confidential information with minimal oversight.

  • Oversee the configuration of Seaware packages, pricing structures, and inventory setup, ensuring timely website launches.

  • Advise collaboration partners on effective system usage, using JIRA for product tracking and guest-facing product introductions.

  • Support initiatives across various business areas, including onboard dining, merchandise, gifts and amenities, onboard hotel and entertainment inventory offerings, port adventures, tour operators at ports of call, and warehouse & logistics partners.

  • Identify efficiencies and drive creative solutions to business needs, while ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines. Focus on innovation and process improvement.

  • Apply in-depth policy and system knowledge to make informed decisions, complete time-sensitive tasks, and communicate updates across all organizational levels.

  • Adapt to evolving priorities and support shoreside product development and shipboard/vendor operations in a dynamic environment, shifting strategies, and new product launches with minimal guidance.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for upgrades and enhancements to Disney Cruise Line systems, influencing potential system improvements.

  • Collaborate with revenue management, sales, marketing, digital, and communications teams to align strategies, achieving revenue and guest satisfaction goals.

  • Leverage yield management and analytical skills to support cruise product strategies through Business Objects and MicroStrategy.

  • Forecast inventory needs based on business trends and communicate these plans to fleet leaders and operators.

  • Support shipboard and shoreside teams by managing product modifications, cancellations, price adjustments, and updates for onboard activities, dining, merchandise, and amenities.

  • Negotiate and influence partners across various departments to meet and exceed revenue and guest experience goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in system data management, project management, or operations, with a focus on business transformation and attention to detail.

  • Expertise in revenue optimization and guest experience enhancement in sectors like merchandise, food & beverage, or entertainment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams at all organizational levels.

  • In-depth knowledge of yield management and analytics, with experience using tools like Business Objects or MicroStrategy to improve cruise product strategies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in driving critical initiatives, guiding teams toward successful execution, and delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks, managing sensitive information, and providing guidance to cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Smartsheet, SharePoint, and JIRA for tracking projects and system updates.

  • Adaptable to change, with experience guiding teams through evolving priorities and shifting strategies.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the cruise and travel industry, specifically Disney Cruise Line.

  • Familiarity with Disney Cruise Vacations Internet and Intranet sites.

  • Proficiency with DCL core systems (Seaware, SilverWhere, Business Objects, MicroStrategy).

  • Advanced experience with JIRA for product and issue tracking.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 products.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Data Analytics, or a related field.
