Project Manager (Systems Support)
Job Summary:
The Project Manager (Systems Support) is responsible for overseeing programs for the Resort Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Key Boxes, Access Control System, and other Security related systems supporting Disneyland Resort. The Project Manager will partner with project teams to ensure security standards are met in new Resort Facility Asset Management (FAM), Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI), and Operations projects (CCTV, Access Control, etc.). You will partner with business leaders to effectively initiate projects, articulate the purpose and goals clearly, and follow through with the project to successfully accomplish those goals. You will ensure the requirements and considerations of Resort and Corporate Security partners are met in all aspects of project development and that they are fully tested before implementation. The Project Manager will actively communicate with leaders and partners regarding the status, challenges, risks, and learnings associated with projects. You may lead work sessions to problem solve, connecting appropriate partners and stakeholders to achieve buy-in towards successful program execution as well as lead the development and sustainment of initiatives and process improvements to exceed expectations in the execution of assigned projects. You will have the opportunity to develop standards with appropriate partners for contracted vendors to maintain equipment. This role may touch both hardware and software.
The Project Manager (Systems Support) role is considered fully on-site, in office in Anaheim, CA and reports to the Program Manager, Digital Guest Experience/Wireless Services for Disneyland Resort.
You Will/Responsibilities:
Prioritize work and gain buy-in from stakeholders on that prioritization. You may manage multiple projects at once across different areas of the business.
Oversee, mentor and provide guidance for hourly Cast.
Oversee and direct vendors (and contractors) on projects and day to day maintenance and repair. Cultivate relationships with vendors to stay abreast of changes in the industry.
Communicate status of all work and operational impacts of planned work while fostering an atmosphere of transparency.
Manage and prioritize the repairs and replacement of CCTV with the evolving security standards and constant construction within the Resort.
Function as the key subject matter expert (SME) for, SAMs (key boxes), CCTV and Access Control System.
Ensure team meets project deliverables and tasks in a timely and effective manner.
Closely manage project meetings, timelines, & budgets. Identify project-related risks and propose mitigation plans.
Conduct project meetings, site walks, and complete necessary administrative duties.
Cultivate relationships with vendors and other partners within The Walt Disney Company.
Monitors Access Control and CCTV systems to ensure all systems are operational, opening tickets for vendors as needed. Coordinates the GAS alarms and panic alarms (on Access Control System) to activate the CCTV cameras.
Integrates multiple security systems to work together.
Functions as systems administrator for multiple security systems, accountable for access levels, adds, edits and removals.
Audits access levels to ensure compliance with company standards.
You Will Have/Required Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in Project Management (ideally supporting a technical/systems area or business).
Knowledge of Theme Park operations and related disciplines.
Technical/Systems knowledge including Lenel administration functions and Key boxes that tie into Lenel. Genetec administration and CCTV. Preferred experience working and/or interacting with security operations teams.
Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and project management software and aptitude for learning other software packages.
Outstanding attention to detail and strong organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including follow through and ability to solve problems.
Ability to build relationships with team members and partners resulting in effective collaborations
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Cross functional experience preferred.
Experience working directly with vendors and contractors. Prefer experience managing vendors/contractors within a systems environment (hardware and software).
Facilitate culture that exhibits trust, collaboration, empowerment, and inclusion.
Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to work a variety of schedules including weekends, holidays, and some on-call hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Theme Park operations and related disciplines.
IT networking and policies knowledge while working at the Disneyland Resort
OnGuard Certified Associate certificate.
Demonstrated ability to interact credibly and represent the Disney brand with external business clients and vendors at all levels
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $77,000.00 to $95,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
