About your future team
The team continuously strives to improve and advance the security, safety, and incident preparedness of the Company through a number of key efforts, including:
Educating and knowledge sharing on a wide array of industry-related topics.
Researching evolving trends and practices in violence prevention and mitigation.
Setting the enterprise-wide standard on workplace violence prevention, active assailant response options, and more.
Proactive threat assessments and data driven reporting.

Support the Global Workplace Security team initiatives throughout the Enterprise. Specific programs include:
Workplace Security Awareness
Conduct in-person training on topics related to workplace security such as workplace violence prevention, active assailant response options, and more.
Coordinate logistics of facilitated training.
Ensure quality control and coordinating allocation of resources, identify appropriate employee audiences for specific trainings, assist with other research duties, and partner with internal communications teams to appropriately market training.
Assist with training curriculum and content development.
Computer-based Training
Manage training and support learner requests within a Success Factors-based learning management system.
Data Management, Research, and Analysis
Be a critical thinker while performing detailed research into global workplace violence, active assailant trends, threat assessment, and best preventative practices.
Author detailed reports and presentations for partners and key stakeholders, prepare formal and informal written products on workplace security topics, and provide written analysis of how trends could impact various work segments of the enterprise.
Capture related metrics, analyze metrics to measure training efficiency and effectiveness, and maintain database of up-to-date statistics for various threats to workplaces.
Workplace Violence Prevention Legislation
Assist in the implementation of legal requirements for workplace violence prevention across the Company
Here’s what you will need to be successful in the role…
Three or more years of experience in security/law enforcement/corporate security roles and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years of analysis/report writing and training experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the Company.
Willingness and capability to adapt to new technologies.
Ability to think critically and creatively and to write concisely within a dynamic team that supports global operations. Must be able to tell a story with data and metrics.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic team that supports global operations.
Comfortable with public speaking and training large groups on sensitive security related topics.
Excellent analytical, open-source research, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated to work independently, handling multiple projects.
It would be a plus if you have these skills…
Experience in supporting training programs across business segments
Master’s Degree in a Security related field or a field related to the position
Experience implementing policies and practices in line with SB553 California Law
Experience as an administrator within a learning management system (LMS) platform, such as SuccessFactors
Minimum of 2 years learning and development experience
Ability to market and drive program growth
Project management certification or experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $71,000 to $95,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
