As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to be part of the team below:

FX/Onyx/National Geographic Finance and Strategy - The Finance and Strategy group is seeking an intern to assist in the regular and ad-hoc tasks necessary to support executives in making content production and licensing decisions across the FX, Onyx, and National Geographic brands. Your work will directly impact the content on air, streaming on Hulu and Disney+, and in the development/strategic pipeline. You’ll operate right at the intersection of the creative and business aspects of creating content that fuels established and emerging brands within the DE TV portfolio.

A Day in the Life…

  • Operating plans, forecasts, and strategic plans
  • P&L planning, budgeting, variance, quarterly, trend, and acquisition analysis
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), project modeling, and variance analysis
  • Evaluating new or existing business opportunities; researching industry/external trends and evaluating their potential impact
  • Long-term Strategic Planning & Consolidation
  • Developing executive-level presentations to communicate and justify strategic plans & recommendations
  • Ad-hoc requests and reporting for your team and Senior Executives

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A solid skill set gained through coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration
  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently
  • Data analytics mindset
  • Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Education:

Currently working toward a Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance or a related field.

Program Details:

  • Location: Burbank, CA.

  • Program Length: May/June - August/September 2025 (12 weeks).

  • Full time, 40 hours per week.

Eligibility Requirements:

At the time of application:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and provide full availability for the entire program duration.

  • Must provide your own housing and transportation during the internship.

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.


The pay rate for this role in Burbank, CA is $22.00 per hour.
