Job Summary:

Calling All Production Security Access Administrators - Expression of Interest!!

Are you interested in being the frontline presence for production within the Lucasfilm Security department? We’re on the lookout for Security Access Administrators to join our growing pool of professionals supporting our exciting upcoming projects. 

As a Security Access Administrator you’ll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production access and electronic permissions within the studio. You’ll be the key liaison between the studio and production, upholding top-tier communication and security standards.

This role also supports the Production Security Coordinator, handling crew, visitors and contractors, and escalating and reporting on security incidents as needed. 

Successful candidates who meet the required criteria may be recommended to individual productions as freelance Security Access Administrators. 

Please note that these roles are contracted directly by the production and are not employed by Disney or Lucasfilm.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Work closely with Lucasfilm Security to safeguard production crew and assets, serving as the primary liaison for security vendors. Advise departments on intellectual property best practices, ensuring crew compliance with security policies. Keep the Security Coordinator and production team informed on any security concerns or incidents. 

  • Security Management: Oversee security vendors to ensure high-quality service and compliance with service level agreements and Lucasfilm Security policies. Maintain professional security standards across production, support physical security, loss prevention and IP protection, and report and follow up on security incidents as required. Additionally, manage access control administration in alignment with GDPR regulations and company protocols. 

  • Technical: Manage and operate the Paxton Net2 Access Control System to regulate building access, issuing and deactivating access cards for employees, crew, visitors and contractors per security policies. Monitor entry and exit activity to ensure compliance and assist in troubleshooting access control issues as required. Liaise with the security team regarding any access control breaches or irregularities. 

  • People Management: Develop a comprehensive understanding of all security functions, including stage, reception and shoot location security, with the ability to respond to the unique needs of each, providing coordination and direction to vendor security supervisors when necessary. 

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Immediately report any safety concerns to the Health & Safety department and maintain a clean and safe working environment across all security positions. 


 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: A background in security with a focus on production security, an understanding of security fundamentals and knowledge of access control administration.

  • Professional Skills: Proficiency using the Microsoft Suite and Paxton Net2 Access Control. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and make decisions that benefit the production.

  • Qualifications: A full valid drivers license is required.
