Job Summary:
* This role is based in our Madrid office 4 days per week*
This role will lead on two key elements Digital marketing and supervising Star Channel Brand.
The ideal candidate will have an interpersonal and creative approach with the ability to develop and implement marketing strategies on social media using content to engage users and investing on paid advertising campaigns to amplify awareness.
This individual will also be accountable for improving the performance and efficiency of new and existing digital materials all across the company and third parties as well as participating in the design, localisation and delivery of new ones optimising budgets. Able to learn new tools, functionalities and last trends quickly and efficiently. Able to analyse web/mobile, social and campaign metrics to drive action and deliver value.
Key accountabilities:
Expand marketing, digital and social media marketing to increase awareness, buzz and engagement around the key company franchises and releases with special focus on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
Star channel brand supervisor:
Support and help to achieve the ratings for Star Channel.
Focus on Star Channel business by sustaining key series, providing marketing support with comprehensive plans that include bought media, social media, events and digital activities.
Affiliates' relation: Gain editorial support & development and execution of marketing activities and campaigns with each platform.
Channels highlights: monthly decks with synopsis + promos for platform communication
Monthly & quarterly follow up on budget expenditure following Subs revenues w/ Finance (actuals, forecast, contract expenditure specifications)
Social media
Lead and moderate social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
Produce social conversation calendars and setting templates for the different titles, campaigns, product.
Analyse the performance of social media platforms and general insights.
Materials management: download and adaptation of FOX content (DMD Central, NBC, SONY, Paramount...) such as NatGeo and Wild.
Management and monitoring of Paid Campaigns (4 channels): Development, implementation, and analytics. In the case of FOX and Nat Geo mainly through RRSS (FB, IG & TW). In the case of DC through IG / YT. And, in the case of DJ more occasionally, through YT.
Selection and planning of endorsements for other business lines (Disney+, Ad Sales, Nat Geo Now and Studio) through our social profiles.
YT DC & DJ monthly report -> elaboration and delivery with main conclusions.
Quarterly D+ support report / Monthly IG DC report -> the first one is elaborated by me, the second one by the agency. Both are sent to the Media Planning team.
Upload and publication, if vital, of episodes in daily National Geographic podcast available on Spotify and other platforms.
To apply you need:
+5 years of professional media and entertainment experience.
+5 years professional experience in marketing & Digital marketing
Extensive experience with marketing, digital marketing and social media.
Consistent track record in problem solving by team working.
Written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English!
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in diverse group settings.
Experience in full life-cycle execution of strategies for properties/franchises.
Consistent record in analytics (Omniture, BuzzMetrics, Google, Facebook, YouTube).
Familiarity with front-end (HTML, FBML, CSS, Flash) and back-end design (servers, DB).
Familiarity with e-commerce and media distribution platforms.
Familiarity with Legal requirements on Digital (promotions, competitions, applications).
Passionate about the world of online and the Disney brand.
