Reporting to Director, Growth Marketing - Performance, you will play a critical role in driving subscriber acquisitions for Disney+ ANZ. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of initiatives of Disney+ marketing landing pages across all devices, CTV - covering paid and editorial media and the ongoing optimisations and testing initiatives across programmatic display, video and audio. 

You will need to apply strategic thinking and an insight-led approach in the development and management of digital marketing programs, in consultation and partnership with the APAC and global Growth Marketing teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in customer acquisition, digital marketing, and landing page optimisation, including SEO. We are looking for a strong team player who will be effective at building and nurturing positive working relationships and have strong communication and influencing skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage AU and NZ subscriber acquisition initiatives across CTV – programmatic, paid & editorial and Prog Video, Display, Audio, including the development and execution of innovative growth strategies to drive customer acquisition.
  • Marketing Landing Pages: Develop initiatives to drive optimum conversion rate and SEO ranking and maintain best-in-class user journey to deliver subscriber growth; championing ANZ initiatives on all devices, including CTV delivering strong CVRs.
  • Monitor and analyse campaigns to ensure they achieve subscriber acquisition targets and meet cost-per-acquisition (CPA) goals.
  • Provide input into budgeting and forecasting in alignment with Global and Local Finance to maintain profitability.
  • Create a regular roadmap per channel that outlines high-impact initiatives, paid media tests, and a learning agenda to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with global Growth Marketing team to design and conduct testing and experiments across respective channels.
  • Provide comprehensive performance reporting with insights that explain the achieved results in relation to ANZ targets. Able to articulate the insights at all levels of the organisation.
  • Work in partnership and consultation with the APAC Growth marketing team as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional local team, including Studios, Lifecycle Marketing, Content, Partnerships, Legal and Creative, while liaising and aligning with global teams.
  • Use data and reports to guide evidence-based decisions, supported by best-practice and latest technology.
  • Directly manage Executive, Growth Marketing - Performance providing direction and guidance to support the ongoing execution of initiatives across performance media channels and landing pages.

Ideal experience:

  • 6+ years’ experience in the management of paid media channels, optimization techniques, and budget management.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the subscription industry.
  • Experience in optimising the digital customer experience is highly desirable.
  • Outcome-focused, and confident in making decisions without necessarily having all the information.
  • Marketing Strategy and Operations: A fundamental understanding of best-practice across programmatic digital, from customer identification and segmentation, to test designs, campaign measurement and optimisation.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of managing marketing campaigns and programs, including strategy development, media planning, creative oversight, and campaign performance measurement.
  • 2+ years of people management
