Job Summary:

Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) aligns technology, media distribution and advertising sales into a single business segment to create and deliver personalized entertainment experiences to consumers around the world.
This role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of digital marketing and communication strategies and activities, collaborating across other lines of businesses in Disney (CRM, Consumer Products) in the delivery of studios and integrated digital marketing campaigns.

The intern would contribute to:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Supervisor in the planning and execution of editorial calendars across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.)
  • Liaise with external agencies for asset production, localization, and delivery of digital materials and with regional team for content approvals
  • Capture and edit content live from marketing activations, events and premieres for real-time social coverage
  • Working closely with other lines of business and regional office managing local CRM and owned media plans
  • Monitor and report on social trends, identifying opportunities to create relevant and engaging content
  • Assist with social campaign reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Assist the digital media team with paid social campaign management

Skills

  • Knowledge of major social media platforms and social trends
  • A strong passion for movies, entertainment and digital culture
  • Ability to capture and create social content and familiarity with video editing apps
  • Proficient with main presentation tools (Microsoft Power Point, Canva, Keynote) and Microsoft full stack
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strategic and collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
