Job Summary:

The Delivery Director is a leader-of-leaders and provides support to Engagement Managers, Sr. Facilitators, and Facilitators who design and deliver Disney Institute (DI) content. This position is responsible for leading the delivery team who collectively build trusted partnerships with clients and participants (external to The Walt Disney Company) focused on improving customer experiences that ultimately produce better business results. You will lead and manage direct reports, providing timely verbal and written feedback, with emphasis on the competencies of business acumen, personal leadership, project management and stage presence.
The Delivery Director reports to the Program Director, Enterprise Programs and sits in Celebration, FL.
You Will/Responsibilities:
Observe and participate in client interactions to understand expectations and guide the approach
Serve as a thought-partner for staff members during content design, encouraging clearly articulated outcomes
Facilitate sessions in concert with delivery staff members
Prepare and deploy delivery resources in collaboration with the Commercial and Shared Services teams
Evaluate learning solution effectiveness through regular review of surveys, post-engagement meetings, and client/employee feedback forums; measure and communicate results
Ensure operational project needs are met/exceeded for learning solutions experienced live in-person, digitally on-demand and through virtual instructor-led training
For the DI Delivery Team, serve as a champion of diversity and inclusion, with an ability to articulate its business rationale
Manage annual performance connection/professional development planning processes with direct reports; set individual and team objectives in alignment with AOP
Approve expense reports and manage product/service costs
Other duties as needed.
You Will Have/Required Qualifications:
5+ years of senior leader/executive development experience including people management experience.
3+ years experience with change management, leading significant organizational culture change
Strong business acumen, with the ability to assess leadership, organizational, and training needs and develop solutions/programs that address them
Demonstrated ability in facilitation, project management, and personal leadership.
Excellent coaching and communication skills with seasoned leaders and external clients
Excellent organizational and process management skills as demonstrated by an ability to manage multiple complex projects and drive toward deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to design and deliver relevant content
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PC
Availability for business travel approximately 60% of the time. Possess a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
Operational experience in Disney Experiences (DX) and/or Leadership experience within the Walt Disney Company.
Ability to represent the Disney brand credibly to external business clients at all levels. Experience interacting with Senior Level Executives and C-Suite with the ability to gain buy-in and empower decision making.
Experience in Training/Learning & Development and Adult Learning, with a strong background in applying adult learning principles and organizational improvement strategies.
Exposure to working globally and with both domestic and international external clients
Professional certification relevant for increasing human performance
Experience using a Mac including Keynote, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Workfront, and Apple products.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in Content/Instructional Design, Organizational Design, Education, Learning and Development, Business Administration, Multimedia Design or Video Production.
