YouTube Content Supervisor
Résumé du poste:
Job Summary
The Supervisor, YouTube Content UK & EMEA is responsible for overseeing all aspects of content management and delivery across Disney’s UK & EMEA YouTube channels.
This role oversees the briefing, creation and sourcing of YouTube content to fulfil the requirements of the DisneyUK & DisneyChannelUK YouTube accounts and is responsible for distributing content to audience-relevant accounts globally.
The core function of this role is to create, maximise and deliver exceptional content for TWDC’s EMEA YouTube channels. This requires setting and evolving the YouTube content strategy for the UK and EMEA and creating a content management system and process that enables the smooth briefing, creation, sourcing, and delivery of content to populate YouTube channels across the region.
The YouTube Content Supervisor will work closely with the YouTube Channel Management Supervisor to provide the content required to successfully maintain and grow YouTube accounts and audiences based on the requirements of the channel and preferences of the algorithm. This will require collaboration over content calendar planning to support UK stakeholders, as well as an in-depth understanding of the content needs and preferences across key EMEA markets. The YouTube Content Supervisor will be the point-person for stakeholders across the business on content formats, creation and optimisation and will be able to adeptly translate business objectives into content that engages target audiences on YouTube. The YouTube Content Supervisor will have a clear data-driven knowledge of what makes needle-moving creative and will work closely with the Senior YouTube Analyst to set benchmarks, examine performance and will use these insights to evolve the content strategy and maximise results.
An expert in identifying and creating stand-out YouTube content, the YouTube Supervisor will proactively source and curate content from across the business as well as briefing the in-house YouTube producer on concepts and formats that will increase engagement and build brand affinity amongst target audiences and markets.
The YouTube Content Supervisor will also work closely with the Channel Management Supervisor to set out annual, monthly and weekly content calendars; identifying content opportunities and communicating content delivery timings, priorities and messaging as well as working with the Cross Company Social Media team more broadly to identify and share content from other platforms where appropriate. Strong organisational skills are key to this role as the Content Supervisor will be expected to set up, establish and advocate for processes that seamlessly facilitate content flow between markets; communicating EMEA needs and managing localisation requirements.
The Cross Company Social Media YouTube team works particularly closely with the Disney Consumer Products (DCP) and Brand Franchise Management teams (BFM) to ensure that preschool IP, specifically Disney Junior and other franchise priorities are supported on YouTube. This requires the Supervisor to develop an understanding of the individual requirements and restrictions across markets in order to maximise content exposure as well as exceptional interpersonal skills to negotiate and secure buy-in from both local and global teams.
Communication is an essential part of this role. The Supervisor is required to work with stakeholders at all levels across multiple lines of business to understand their specific content requirements and deliver creative solutions on time and within budget. This requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complicated systems and multiple feedback layers.
The Cross Company Social Media team has a test and learn approach and this role is expected to adopt this way of working, maintaining an up to date knowledge of new and evolving formats and trends whilst working with YouTube to trial alpha and beta tests, actively seeking new approaches to creative that evolve the content strategy of the channels and working with the Senior YouTube Analyst to ensure every piece of content is measured for impact.
