
ABC Owned TV Stations Data Analytics Intern, Summer/Fall 2025
Job Summary:
About the Role & Program
The ABC Owned TV (OTV) Station Group is seeking a Data Analytics Intern who will be a critical contributor to the Content Strategy and Analytics (CS&A) team. The CS&A team supports the ABC Owned TV local news stations, specifically digital, for eight key local audiences across the United States and the division content portfolio to address optimization opportunities, providing the data backbone for strategy, content, operations, and product-related decision making across the OTV business unit.

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through early January 2026.
What You Will Do
Support ad-hoc data retrieval and preparing recurring reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) that are distributed across the group, and this includes Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Reports, Performance Reports, Enterprise-level Dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis
Collect, validate, and maintain historical datasets from various third-party sources
Maintain technical documentation
Solidify validity of insights and explain those findings in a concise manner
Monitor industry trends and interpret the potential implications for the business
Implement and develop dashboards and reporting
Required Qualifications & Skills
Ability to parse, analyze and interpret data in spreadsheet form
Experience in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
High attention to detail and experience in multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing data analysis/financial models or experience using a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI
Experience in digital media, and experience on the content-publishing side is preferred
Familiarity with communicating to technical and non-technical audiences
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred
Working on a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Analysis, Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management or related field preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through early January 2026
Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
