Job Summary:
Sr Manager, Operations Integration Singapore
Summary: As Sr Manager, Operations Integration Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in connecting and driving the successful execution and integration of key projects and initiatives horizontally across Disney Cruise Line Operations in Singapore. This role will report to the DCL Vice President and Regional General Manager in Singapore with a dotted line to the Director of Operations Integration in Celebration.
Responsibilities:
- Connect and support the leaders of Hotel, Entertainment, Marine & Technical, and Human Resources with planning, project management, communication, and analytical services.
- Support operational efforts to ensure new initiatives, business practices, and technologies are fully integrated into the DCL business.
- Lead and manage multiple operational projects and initiatives of varying size and scope simultaneously. Projects will support technology integration, product planning, accessibility, communication, events, policies, operational processes, and other initiatives that connect the organization.
- Stay connected with DCL Operations Integration US to ensure alignment across lines of business and among all ships, where necessary and applicable.
- Lead cross-departmental teams to integrate work efforts and facilitate effective communications, processes and implementation of product/program improvements.
- Ensure operational product, policy or process changes and updates are approved, documented, and broadly communicated internally and externally so that Cast, Crew, media, trade, and other stakeholders consistently have timely and accurate information.
- Serve as home base leader for Industrial Engineering function, partnering with IE resources locally and at other Disney Experiences sites as necessary.
- Serve as initial point of contact for any operational input or support that is needed by Tech & Digital, Commercial teams including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Revenue Management, Travel Services, Research, or other parts of the organization.
- Serve as on-site leader in Singapore for Disney Cruise Line strategic project meetings, representing the Disney Adventure and other localized projects.
- Partner with operational teams to gather and provide requirements for projects and process improvements, develop recommendations, prepare documentation required for discussion, and present to leadership for approvals.
- Communicate, present, and facilitate discussions on topics that require leadership involvement and decision.
- Conduct after action reviews with stakeholders and leaders to compile and understand feedback to help develop future projects.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in operations project management, strategic planning, or other relevant disciplines with a proven track record of driving projects to completion.
- Proficient in time management, organizational capabilities, balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs in an evolving and growing business.
- Ability to present to and communicate with all levels of the organization, including executives.
- Proven critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners at various levels.
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Proven ability to assess projects against predefined criteria and make informed decisions about their alignment with strategic goals.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when evaluating projects, preparing presentations, and organizing agenda items for project meetings.
- Ability to consolidate input from multiple sources, synthesize findings, and develop recommendations.
- Familiarity with existing Disney Cruise Line digital products.
- An awareness and understanding of services for people with disabilities and associated accessibility regulations or guidelines.
- Ability to analyze metrics to create stories depicting operational performances and user experiences for strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), presentation software, and project management software, including Smartsheet.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of Disney Cruise Line, including an understanding of maritime environment and associated operations.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Communication, Project Management, or equivalent
