Job Summary:

The Disney Signature Experiences Emerging Businesses Team champions new business development projects and growth initiatives, diversifying the Disney Parks, Experiences, & Products portfolio. Storyliving by Disney™ is one of the first projects of the Emerging Businesses Team. Cotino™, a Storyliving by Disney™ community, is being built in the heart of the Greater Palm Springs area. The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team to drive operational excellence and revenue. You will be accountable for all sales tasks, both administrative and operating relating to the Cotino Sales Team. You will be an integral part of the overall day-to-day Operations. 

This position is based in Palm Springs, California. 

You will report directly to the Cotino Sales Director 

You Will: 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and the home builder, ensuring alignment across all aspects of the master-planned community, including structural options, pricing updates, and design/option sessions that support a seamless homebuying experience. 

  • Lead and develop a team of Cast Members responsible for selling homes located in the Cotino community to prospective buyers.  

  • Ensure partnership between Sales Agent and Experience Advisor Cast Members to provide a seamless and class-leading buyer experience. 

  • Achieve and exceed sales performance metrics for the Cotino site by leading, coaching, and motivating a team of sales professionals. 

  • Support the development of sales, marketing, and promotional tactics designed to increase prospective leads and buyers. 

  • Ensure the sales process achieves Disney brand standards, providing quality guest service through extensive knowledge of sales procedures and methodologies. 

  • Work with internal and external partners to create an inclusive environment for the local Realtor community. 

  • Provide input and host daily and weekly meetings to update the team on sales metrics and contract status. 

  • Proven experience in sales operations as a Salesforce subject matter authority with proficiency in creating reports, optimizing processes, configuration, training new hires, and leading dashboards 

  • Assist in creating, updating, and delivering training, documentation, processes, and practices needed to support the Sales Agents.  

  • Identify standard methodologies to share with Cast Members, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and consistency in sales process and operations 

  • Run daily operations as it pertains to scheduling, attendance, and Cast support 

  • Ensure data quality across the entire sales channel by performing audits 

  • Work with teams to identify areas for optimization through process improvements and tools and complete projects to improve revenue team efficiency 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to find solutions to technology challenges, gaps, or deficiencies 

  • Support miscellaneous projects as needed 

You Will Have: 

  • Valid California real estate license and a valid State Driver’s License. 

  • 5+ years of real estate or comparable sales experience, preferably within upscale, master-planned communities 

  • Experience as a leader in an Operations or Sales environment 

  • Knowledge of the California Real Estate market and California Real Estate law. 

  • Capability to recognize, retain, and invest in the development of talent and satisfaction of the team by inspiring, increasing engagement, and promoting collaboration

  • Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends, holidays, and nights 

  • Experience handling confidential information 

  • Proficiency in a CRM i.e. Salesforce, basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Windows environment, and other technologies 

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 3+ years leading a team of Sales Agents 

Required Education 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

Preferred Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree

The hiring range for this position in Palm Springs, CA is $94,200.00 to $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
