Senior Manager, Business Integration - International
Job Summary:
Disney Live Entertainment - International is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Integration to join our team and help us create amazing live entertainment experiences for audiences around the world. This role requires a strong background in business analysis, data-driven decision making, and strategic planning, as well as a passion for live entertainment and Disney's brands, products, and values.
As the Senior Manager, Business Integration, you will report to the VP, Live Entertainment - International and work closely with the creative, production, and operational teams to monitor and drive our ability to deliver business agility and achieve business results across the region. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Gather and monitor data on Live Entertainment experiences to measure success, identify opportunities, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
- Capture the commercial case for projects, with financial and other commercial targets, such as incremental attendance, direct and indirect revenue, guest satisfaction, brand elevation, and market penetration.
- Manage the strategic framework to monitor product success against business objectives (capturing measurable business objectives) and aligning with the global Live Entertainment strategy and vision.
- Manage the International Council and its subcommittees, and interface with multiple partners, both internally and externally, to develop strategic priorities.
- Manage Blue Sky Briefs for Entertainment products, in partnership with sites and producers; lead partnerships with site IE, OI and commercial teams to capture business requirements and reflect them back to Creative teams for development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the region and the globe to ensure alignment, coordination, and integration of Live Entertainment initiatives and best practices.
- Commission and coordinate communications tools (briefs, updates, highlights, reports) to support timely DLE-WDI leadership engagement, working with site teams.
- Support the VP, Live Entertainment - International to develop and present business plans, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights, and apply them to inform and enhance live entertainment strategies.
- Support inclusion planning across the region, ensuring that live entertainment reflects and celebrates the diversity of Disney’s guests and fans.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, strategic planning, or related roles, preferably in the entertainment or theme parks industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and information into clear and actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and persuade diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and flexible, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and other data analysis and visualization tools.
- Fluency in English and, as desirable, at least one other language either French or Mandarin.
- A willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
