The Marketing Strategy team drives consumer demand from Latin America (revenue, bookings, attendance) for the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line. The team achieves these goals by developing business and communication strategies and partnering with cross-discipline teams to create products that drive consumer behavior. The team also is responsible for the management of plans to ensure each destination or program is enhanced across a range of marketing tactics.

As a Sr. Marketing Strategy Manager - LATAM, you will contribute to the development of structural plans for each assigned destination. This role supports the Consumer Direct channel team through a deep understanding of our products, technologies, and processes.

The Sr. Marketing Strategy Manager - LATAM will report to the Consumer Channel Director - Latin America.

Responsibilities/You Will:

  • Lead project management of Latin America’s Direct-to-Consumer structural projects across Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line; including large booking capability expansion, technology solutions with third-parties, and optimization of our current direct sales ecosystem.
  • Lead development and execution of business plans for complex and innovative sales channel solutions
  • Effectively prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with the proven track record to clearly define and articulate the objectives and vital steps to move forward bodies of work
  • Drive Project Planning and contribute to Annual Operating Planning, Championing the development of capital asset requests and cross-discipline Go-To-Market strategies
  • Optimize processes to support the business’ operational needs across Technology & Digital, Finance, Sales Strategy, Contact Center, among other
  • Manage cross-functional forums for high visibility projects
  • Assess performance, needs, risk and opportunities and identify solutions
  • Articulate clear and actionable points of view and actively participates in complex marketing discussions
  • Demonstrate fluency across a variety of marketing functions
  • Understand the implications of analytics and how to apply them to influence decisions

  • Apply a commercial approach to the market, analyzing trends and seeing opportunities beyond the current business (ex. dedicated offers)
  • Identify and integrate consumer and business needs in the short and long terms
  • Lead processes and ideas
  • Present to a variety of audiences

  • Drive work with urgency and deliver against timelines
  • Navigate business complexity
  • Contribute independently, while remaining open to feedback to cultivate development

Basic Qualifications

  • At least eight years of Project Management in technology, hospitality or consumer products environments
  • Broad knowledge about business drivers, understanding opportunities and threats
  • Sophisticated relationship-building skills
  • Technical marketing and business skills to inspire and lead business plans
  • Ability to convey a verbal or written story that influences leaders, partners, and peers
  • Proactive problem solver with ability to establish trust and credibility, follow through on decisions and advance critical work in a collaborative manner
  • Proficient at interpreting data analyses and drawing conclusions from research

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of international audiences and products
  • Specialized expertise in content of role, preferably with prior In-Market experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Advanced Project Management experience (Traditional, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Previous work experience in Digital Marketing, Strategy, Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing, or Technology Product Management

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or equivalent
  • Masters of Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Project Management Certification preferred
