Job Summary:

This position requires you to be based in our Milan office 4 days a week.

Within the Disney+ Growth team, the Commercial Performance Analyst provides support to the Commercial Planning and Trading Manager to maintain trading reporting, conduct data analysis and modelling (latest view, customer base outlooks, churn projections, etc.) to support growth initiatives and retention. The candidate will be able to cultivate strong business skills and results-driven approach that uses data to drive thinking, strategies and business decisions.

Areas of Responsibility

Maintain weekly reporting on Disney+ performance (sign-ups, churn, net growth etc) and analyse variances with Forecast in the Italian market

Work close to the Commercial Planning and Trading manager to develop actionable plans on a seasonal base to improve trading performance and sustain long-term growth

Lead workflow with EMEA team to address and complete ad hoc analysis

Conduct market research to learn and supervise about competitor context on pricing, releases, etc.

Building and/or improving tracking models for key market critical metrics:

Conducting ad-hoc analyses on subscriber acquisition, churn, and content engagement, and bringing to bear insights to improve performance in these areas

Understanding the dynamic environment from both a platform and content perspective, using insights to analyze and anticipate impacts on business

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role and /or in business intelligence and/or data analysis

Strong analytical skills (Excel skills), with capacity to perform data analysis and to present results clearly and concisely

Great teammate, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to constantly evolving business context and priorities

Strong business sense and results-driven approach that uses data to drive thinking and decisions

Competencies Required:

  • Reporting/Accounting and variance analysis

  • Analytical skills, and basic computation / math / accounting skills required

  • A team player, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to business demands

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Italian and English proficient!
