As a Business Integration & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the integration of projects and development of communications across Travel Services and Commercial Teams, for Disney Cruise Line’s operations in the APAC region.  You will act as a liaison within Travel Services, Commercial Teams and our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) vendor in Southeast Asia by working together with cross-functional partners to support key information including communication of product details, procedures and policies, operational changes, process improvements and system enhancements. You will provide expertise and perspective to drive business processes, act as a liaison, advisor and thought partner, be proactive in your collaboration efforts and exhibit strong influencing skills. This role demands both a day-to-day focus on projects and communications, as well as, strategic insight for identifying future capabilities. In addition, the Business Integration & Communications Manager is responsible for developing, analyzing and communicating results for Guest/Cast Survey Measurements and should be comfortable taking initiative and confidently communicating with leaders of all levels in the organization both internally and externally. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a liaison within Travel Services, Commercial Teams and our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) vendor in Southeast Asia to support key information including communication of product details, procedures and policies, operational changes, process improvements and system enhancements. 
  • Develops integrated communications plans by determining objectives; analyzing data, developing customized strategies, creating scripts and spiels, selecting distribution channels and facilitating communication as appropriate.
  • Supports new business initiatives by championing and defining project scope, goals, required resources and results that support strategy, in collaboration with senior management and partners. 
  • Liaise with partners on an ongoing basis to provide expertise and perspective for business processes optimization, act as an advisor and thought partner, exhibit strong influencing skills and ensure all internal communications align with business goals.
  • Review and auadit of communications with an emphasis on consistency, timeliness, and accuracy of information, nomenclature, grammar, spelling, dates, times, etc.
  • Proactively utilize critical thinking skills to analyze processes and risks, identify opportunities, and make strategic decisions to drive business solutions and efficiencies.
  • Communicate complex problems and create compelling visions to support business initiatives tailored for the audience (Executives, Managers, Peer Groups, Internal and External Partners).
  • Drive alignment, highlight downstream impacts and understand future operational business needs by remaining current and knowledgeable on Disney Cruise Line
  • Develop, execute, and analyze Guest/Cast Survey Measurements and results, as identified by the business.  
  • Provide clear, concise and consistent communication on the business’ direction and act as an advocate to champion change.
  • Manage diverse responsibilities with the ability to shift priorities and complete a multitude of tasks in a rapidly, ever changing environment.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, variable shifts and holidays to support the operation.  Some travel required. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Preferred 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in project management, business analysis or operational technology strategies and integrating into operations. 
  • Exceptional partnering, influencing, and relationship building skills with an enthusiastic and professional demeanor that builds loyalty to the brand.
  • Ability to recognize process improvements opportunities and be a change advocate through process-centric thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of Disney Cruise Line to effectively lead projects and optimize business processes. 
  • Experience with balancing multiple threads of work and setting priorities, providing recommendations, and influencing decision making.
  • Strong writing, presentation, storytelling, positioning and editing skills. Adept at writing messages to various targeted audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment, maintain a professional composure and demonstrate good judgement while handling a multitude of tasks and difficult situations.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide an executive summary.  
  • A high-level of problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to working in ways that support and encourage diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheets, Microsoft Projects or similar project management systems as well as Microsoft Office suite.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred Certification in a project management methodology such as SCRUM, PMP, or Six Sigma
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of a contact center environment 
  • Basic knowledge of cruise/tour industry, luxury oriented clients, luxury tour operators, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related business field
