Disney’s Corporate Alliances team develops and manages complex, long-term strategic marketing relationships with top global brands. The Corporate Alliances team is dedicated to creating incremental value through creative storytelling between The Walt Disney Company and its partners. Our team’s mission is to be the world’s premier marketing partnership organization.

The Business Development Center of Excellence is located in Orlando, FL, and is responsible for building new Corporate Alliance partnerships – everything from early market research, through ongoing engagement with prospective alliance partners, to internal ideation and stakeholder alignment, and ultimately contract negotiation and signature. As part of this team, you will be the visionary that brings all segments of The Walt Disney Company together to meet our client’s objectives.

  • You thrive in an environment in which you are assigned new projects on a regular basis

  • Your organization and attention to detail helps you prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects

  • You know how to get smart on anything, and you demonstrate it by quickly understanding categories and opportunities

  • You can easily distill all of the information you uncovered into succinct, insightful summaries for your team

  • You are invigorated when creating something that has never been done before, and charting a new path is seen as motivating, not discouraging

  • You are inquisitive and comfortable with asking questions, gathering information, and seeking necessary levels of detail/feedback

  • You are self-motivated, proactive and look for ways to actively contribute

  • You can create an extensive, multi-part presentation for an upcoming client visit, and coordinate inputs from several internal partners into one cohesive document

  • You display a high degree of “social intelligence” in reading people, handling situations and influencing desired outcome

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work experience

  • 1+ years of marketing, business development or consulting experience

  • Understand basic financial statements

  • Proven business acumen in marketing and business development

  • Ability and propensity to turn vision into action while following through on numerous parallel workstreams

  • Proficiency in creative and analytical thinking

  • Proven ability to create advanced, complex presentations, e.g., PowerPoint and Keynote

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Possess facilitation and influencing skills

  • Effective written communication and storytelling skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with basic data, financial and forecasting financials

  • Understanding of Salesforce data management system

  • Familiarity with Keynote

  • Familiarity with TWDC portfolio of products and services

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Brand/Product Management, Advertising or Engineering

Preferred Education:

  • MBA
