As the Graphic Design Manager, you will stretch your creative skills as part of the team responsible for providing creative services and products in the areas of: executive and concept development presentations, menu collateral design, event graphics, web development, interactive design, branding, print collateral, and other various media assets which may require video and photography support. Working in a highly collaborative and agile environment, you will participate in the creative process at various stages (including pre-visualization/pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery).
This position is part of the Creative Services Team that works with internal partners and clients across Walt Disney World Resort under the Walt Disney World Food & Beverage and Merchandise Line of Business.
This position reports to the Mgr-Creative & Design F&B and Merch Line of Business.

What you will do:
• Project manage, design and launch critical Cast Life site migration to the Disney Connect platform required for both Food & Beverage and Merchandise operational needs
• Lead sustainment and ongoing maintenance of content and related assets housed in multiple Disney Connect pages along with several other digital platforms
• Develop compelling executive level presentations and messages for targeted internal and external audiences
• Coordinate the introduction and development of new, innovative designs to increase organizational engagement and effectiveness
• Build engaging and effective platforms and tools, and champion an innovative approach to creative delivery
• Create on-brand, on-strategy compelling creative work that leverages a variety of media including but not limited to graphic design, videography, interactive design, web platforms, and photography
• Create menu and collateral design, layouts, and handle modifications
• Leverage best-in-class practices and vehicles to optimize creative quality, effectiveness and product integrity
• Act as a consultant, influencer and strategic thought partner to Line of Business clients, peers and partners to understand needs and shape creative direction; drive collaboration and continuity horizontally
• Manage and maintain creative services assets; review all creative and be responsible for the accuracy of all art files
• Collaborate with a broad audience of key stakeholders, partner groups and operations clients.
• Benchmark internally and externally to identify creative applications and tools, which may be executed to drive relevance or effectiveness
• Manage project timelines and proactively identify constrained resources, conflicting priorities, and scheduling issues
• Ensure that the Disney standards of quality and creativity and the Disney brands are reflected consistently in all materials
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven UI experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, layout, presentation design, color theory, typography, and UI
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Back-end HUB platform & Disney Connect experience
• Previous WDW LOB Merchandise and/or Food &Beverage experience
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Project Management experience
• Proven self-starter, recognizing when projects need to involve multiple partners and decisions need to be made at other levels within the organization

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
