The Marketing & Commercial Intern would provide creative and administrative support to the Regional Commercial team and assist in securing Disney+ and Studios Partnerships for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

This role will gain exposure in creating customized Commercial partner pitches under close guidance and commercial strategies of the Commercial Lead to execute deal closures to partners spanning across industries including but limited to Telcos, Financial Institutions, Retail, OEMs and many more, as well as the delivery of integrated cross-lines-of-business initiatives across Southeast Asia (SEA).

The role will be responsible for the creative conceptualization of partner pitch decks primarily. This position will be tasked with bringing partner pitches to life through outstanding visuals and story-telling with Disney’s cross-lines-of-business assets, to deliver the Disney magic to our partners’ initiatives and organization objectives by marrying commercials with the highest creative excellence.

You have a keen understanding and thrive on producing a creative vision for Disney+ and Studios Partnerships. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, this individual will have the creative craft and expertise to seamlessly develop best in class creative, delivering a creative vision that blends the authenticity of Disney+ content that drives distinct Partner objectives.

You will have a suite of creative skills either across design, copywriting and art or digital graphic, editing, etc.

Responsibilities:

Design Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create visually outstanding and engaging pitch decks.
  • Creativity: Bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to enhance the impact of pitch deck presentations.

Content Creation:

  • Ability to develop compelling content that effectively communicates key messages about Disney+ subscription service and Disney Studio releases.
  • Understanding of KPIs: Familiarity with key performance indicators relevant to partner organizations and ability to align pitch deck content to meet those metrics.

Research:

  • Conducting research to gather relevant information, statistics, and visuals to support the pitch deck content.

Collaboration:

  • Working closely with team members to brainstorm ideas, gather feedback, refine pitch deck presentations.
  • Ensuring close collaboration with cross-functions and cross-lines-of-business within Disney on a shared commercial objective and creative the visuals to support the pitch.

Administrative:

  • Administrative support for Commercial team to move pipeline deals to deal closure.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between May to Aug 2024

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Art, Design and Media, or a related field
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of the pitch deck, including brand, formatting, and messaging.
  • Deadline Management: Meeting project deadlines and managing time effectively to deliver high-quality pitch decks on schedule.
  • Adaptability: Being open to learning new skills and adapting to changes in project requirements or priorities.
  • Proficient in graphic design softwares such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Knowledge or interest or fan mentality for Disney+, Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel a plus
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for creatives, marketing partnerships and commercialization of deals
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  • Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop creatives
  • Proficient in MS Office and Keynote
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
