About the Role:
Brand Solutions help generate incremental revenues for the business to monetise assets beyond FCT. The Pricing & Strategy team within the Brand Solutions PRS vertical focusses on pricing, grid evaluations and driving the Brand Solutions revenue for the Entertainment network. The incumbent shall work on effective pricing to land deals at the right premiums and thereby revenue maximization of all Brand Solutions deals. The team also is critical in planning & forecasting for the business and also provide research based insights to sales teams for identifying and closing deals.
Context:
This position is expected to be part of the Brand Solutions Product & Revenue Strategy team focusing on creative solutions and collateral linked support to sales acquisition, revenue maximization and retention of clients utilizing content lead & non FCT monetization strategies for the Entertainment & Kids cluster at Disney-Star. This is done through effective forecasting, planning, pricing and property integrations based on deep understanding of client needs and content. The team also focusses on research driven insights to identify client & categories to help build the portfolio as well as post evals of successfully executed deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Revenue & Yield Delivery
Planning for AOP and tracking and delivery of the same
Projections planning, forecasting & tracking with sales on a monthly/ weekly basis on funnel, revenues & spends
Business planning on a month-on-month basis & forecasting for subsequent quarters
Scoping & Identifying growth levers and opportunities & reviews with sales
Long term annual deals with select clients
Costing & Grids
Work closely with the Creative Team for pricing of the ideas curated
Pricing & costing for all proposals. Driving premium in both production & airing
Production cost estimations for projects and liaising with commercial/ marketing teams for costs and negotiations to optimize production costing
Airing grids for creatives made by the Brand Solutions team
Publish Rate cards for Brand Solution elements
Data- driven Analytics and Insights
Tracking market insights & industry updates to inform strategy & sales
Data Analysis for select pitches, sector/category analysis and preparing measurement based use-cases
Understanding Brand briefs and provide insights to substantiate the creative ideas curated by the Ideation team
Post evals for large deals as needed
BARC, Distillery & Primary-Secondary research
Cross functional interactions
Ad Sales/ Channel PRS/ Channel marketing teams/ Commercial teams/ Production Houses/ Operations/ Consumer Insights/ Distillery/ S&P/ Legal
Performance Measures:
Achievement of assigned targets within the specified time frame
Driving pricing agenda and effective implementation of Brand Solutions campaigns
Strong internal and external relations
Quality of solutions provided and contribution to the success of campaigns executed
Qualifications:
3-5 years work experience
MBA in sales & marketing
Strong quantitative and analytical ability
Strong inclination to do secondary research and think strategically basis insights
Knowledge of BARC /YUMI desirable though not sacrosanct
Personal Attributes:
Strong Interpersonal skills with an assertive personality
Ability to multitask and to deal with dynamic and fast paced internal & external environment
Eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
Good communication, interpersonal, customer and problem-solving skills
